Not many folks in Murfreesboro can claim a life time of family history but Anne Lewis Henslee’s roots run deep and long. Her grandfather, Matt Doran McKnight, rode his pony down Main Street as a child when it was just a dirt road. Madge McKnight Lewis, Anne’s mother, graduated from Central High School, class of 1953. AND the family plot located just off Halls Hill Pike has graves dated back to 1809. Anne graduated from Oakland High School in 1976 and University of Tennessee in 1981. She raised her daughters Katie Allen and Mary Allen here in Murfreesboro and they too graduated from OHS. She and Husband Mike Henslee married in 2005, and have 3 grandchildren Lenore and Palmer (Michael and Candice Henslee) and Harrison Brown + another boy on the way December 2019 (Lauren and Adam Brown). They live in The Hamptons and are members of Northside Baptist Church.

Her professional career started in Knoxville in the hospitality industry working for Hilton Hotels during the 1982 World’s Fair. She then moved back to Middle Tennessee when she was recruited to work for Opryland Hotel as Catering/Sales Manager. Her love for serving others has flourished over a vast career from banking, to Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, to Realtor. In March 2019, Anne was offered a job that suited her just right!

She is honored to represent McKnight Advisory Group, Inc. as Business Development Specialist where she loves meeting with businesses throughout Middle TN to share the story of Edwin McKnight and his talented staff.

Anne holds Life and Health Insurance licenses and specializes in helping employers develop healthcare and insurance benefits plans to facilitate businesses in retaining and recruiting top talent to their staff. She can also offer a second opinion to existing benefits packages and 401(K) plans for confidence in the best product and results. She is here to help you and your team with future success.
