Lydia Johnson, CPS, PLS, was born and spent her formative years in Raleigh, North Carolina.  Shortly after high school graduation, she moved to Florida, where she earned her Associates of Science Degree from Lake Sumter Community College in Leesburg.  Soon thereafter, she moved to Murfreesboro and began a career in the legal field – first as a legal secretary, then as a paralegal.  She was also Chief Deputy of the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office-Civil Division for our county government for a number of years.  Lydia holds a Certified Professional Secretary (CPS) designation, as well as a Professional Legal Secretary (PLS) designation.

After 40 years of service in the legal field, Lydia made the decision to “semi-retire” which led to her position as our Medicare Client and Public Relations Specialist with McKnight Advisory Group.  Lydia brings a wealth of management and organizational skills to our organization, as well as an eye for detail which is aimed at ever increasing our customer service experience.  Since joining our organization, she has concentrated her efforts on a specialization in the Medicare field, and is currently the executive assistant to Hillary Broome, our Medicare Solutions Advisor.  Lydia lives in Murfreesboro with her husband Gerald.  They attend North Boulevard Church of Christ. They have four children - Amy Willis, Lori Fann, Shannon McKnight and Holly Kern and seven grandchildren - Brianna Fann, Hunter Fann, Abbie McKnight, Aidan McKnight, Ryan Perkins, Brighten Kern and Cypress Kern.
